Benefit Concert featuring Nadirah Shakoor two time Grammy nominated artist and MTV Humanitarian Award winner with Alternative, Acoustic Guitarist Kerry Wentworth. Friday, December 12, 7:30 pm, Tarpley Theatre, Clayton County Performing Arts Center 2530 Mount Zion Parkway (across from Mt. Zion High School). Doors open at 6:30 pm there will be a concession stand. No food allowed in the theatre. Proceeds will help give temporary support to women and children who are in need due to some form of abuse and aid in bringing a better understanding of faiths through collaborative work. Tickets sold at the door on the night of the performance will be $20VIP/$15GEN. ALL SALES FINAL...NO REFUNDS/NO EXCHANGES.
A collection for the Obama-Biden transition team will be take up at the event.
Proceeds will benefit the Baitul Salaam Network, Inc. and the American Islamic Fellowship.
